Flapper skate eggs found off Skye

Posted on

Very exciting to hear that more than 100 flapper skate eggs have been found by divers off the coast of Skye.  The flapper skate is critically endangered and now extinct in most of its former range in Britain.  Sadly the area where they have been found is vulnerable to dredging and trawling.
