Talk by Roger Cottis on South Skye Lochs, 28th April, 7.30 pm

We are delighted that Roger will be giving Sleat Environment Group's next talk on “Sea and Shore in South Skye” on Thursday 28th April at 7.30 pm by zoom.
Roger will talk about the work of the South Skye Seas Initiative (SSSi), which is collating data from shoreline to under water for Lochs Slapin, Eishort and Scavaig, plus other areas around Skye.
Underwater data is collected by a BlueRov2 and GoPro cameras on drop down poles to submit evidence for adding protection to areas of Priority Marine Features for NatureScot and Marine Scotland.
