Join Dr Stephen Bungard, BSBI Vice-county Recorder for Skye, Raasay and the Small Isles to unlock some of the mysteries and secrets of this fascinating group of plants.
Stephen will introduce a brand-new user-friendly key to identify these common plants and lead visits to a few sites in order to see most of these plants in their native habitats.
As usual for SLEF events, hot drinks and cake provided, but bring your own packed lunch.
There is no charge for event, participants are responsible for cost of getting to Raasay, transport on the island will be provided.
Relevant ferry times: depart Sconser 1025; return from Raasay 1530.
